Hi,

this piece of a fibula i found on a meadow not far from my home. My great challenge for this year is to find the rest of it  Grin

Thanks god, it?s the more interesting part of the fibula, you can see the "face" on top of it. These type fo mask fibulas was used at the middle Latene period 300 - 100 BC
The fragment is 4 cm long, so the complete fibula must have been around 15 - 18 cm long.

Looks more like a "gray," to me! I am presuming there may have been greys, way back then. A grey, would be even more controversial!
