Now thats what I call a really nice find and I thank you for putting pics of it up on here for all to see because that coin tells us a lot about the people who used that coinage when they were alive.
The first thing that struck me was the lettering which means these people had their own language and were literate in so much as they could read and write and understand the written word.
You can often find similar lettering on so called Celtic coins found in Britain too.  It should tell everyone a story.
The lettering is probably and I do say probable in the form of the ancient Coelbren Alphabet which was outlawed in Britian by one of the norman kings.  Usually on such coins there is a figure of a horse unlike this example which shows a shield a form of defence.
There is a growing misconception by Academics who are quick to say these ancient people were illiterate those letters disprove that fact immediately.  It is a very unique piece of a huge jig saw puzzle thats slowly and surely being put together bit by bit.
