Karl: for some reason the song 'put another log on the fire' started playin' in the back o' my head.

goin' through withdrawal fellas, sold the old ADS. I will pick up another when things get brighter. One consolation was how thrilled the guy was to get it. Ran him through the paces. Man! After using my ace for so long I was impressed at how dead on that thing is. Its on its way to Branson now, Lakefront.

So, Karl, did she bring you and occasional Root Beer?

Poptop, do you have a detector now, or are you completely out of detectors?  Having NO detector iswn't good, you know! 

Hey Homie, at least you got out and got what you know is some good dirt!

I haven't been out because of that infernal "yard work", too!  I picked up a Compass Challenger X-80 from e-bay a few weeks ago.  Coil was in wretched shape and wouldn't work.  Put my old X-70 coil on it and it worked fine.  Since then I have purchased a coil for the X-80 and will continue on, when I can get away from the yard!

Also, the last two-and-a-half weeks I've been riding my Harley with friends.  I've put over 1400 miles on it in that time.  Preparing for a 3300 ride in mid-June.  Hope I can make it!  I swear I'm gonna get out with one of my detectors...   soon!

Arfieboy! I wondered where you were! Hope you really enjoyed your ride. Thanks for watching my back, I still have the ACE 250 the wife and kids got me this winter, so it is not as bad as I make it sound.

Nah , But I did get a glass of Sweet tea.

Been out at the boat show all weekend looking at pontoon boats and houseboats.
Man it's a whole lot of money for boats now adays.

And of course the Houseboat the wife likes has a little over 2000 sf of cabin space and it's

close to a million bucks $$$$ , Guess I am gonna have to win the Lottery Now !!   Shocked

Oh well on a positive note I found $ .50 cents on the way to the dock.  Grin

There's one more thing, Homefire. You CAN back the mail up to an HTML file on your local drive before you delete them. Then you have a record of long-winded exchanges. Like the ones I have with Xavier. He'll agree that some are just as huge as they can get and not be published in a book.
