I'd love to find an old HD to restore but one needs money and space to do that kind of thing.

Cool photos ArfieBoy thanks for sharing them with us. I found this bike just the other day and just had to take a photo of it LOL

Yeah, I take pictures of bikes all the time, too!  In fact, that is NOT my bike, just one I thought was cool!

Funny thing is every time I go out and I don't have my tablet with me (I use it to take photos) there is a great HD parked on my way. I guess that I'm going to have to have it with me at all times, I really should get a camera, a small one that I can have in my pocket as my cell phone takes useless photos.

My phone takes crappy pictures, too.  That's why I always carry a little pocket Kodak digital camera with me, or I have a 35mm digital with a wondrous zoom that goes to 80X and hardly pixelates at all!  Fantastic picture from it.  My wife is taking her laptop, so maybe I'll be able to post some pictures from the road!  Leaving tomorrow morning at 9am PDT!

Here are a couple of other shots from the rally in July!

Karl!  How in the world have you been?  Great to have you back.  Bunch of us been wondering if you fell off the planet...  or what!  How have you been doing...  and what have you been doing?   Great Laola

Posted on: September 17, 2014, 04:03:02 pm
Okay, guys!  I'm finally going to attempt to post some picture from my August motorcycle ride , Just a few at a time.  my wife and I rode from Northeastern Oregon with two other couples to Gunnison, Colorado to look for an obscure Vietnam memorial on top of a mountain out of Gunnison.  We found it!  Wife and I split off from the other two couples to visit my sister.  Then took her home and went on a journey through Colorado, SD, Wyoming and Idaho.  We went to see Mt. Rushmore,  Sturgis, SD,  Devils Tower, WY,  Old Faithful in Yellowstone, then down to Jackson Hole, WY where my grandfather was a state government trapper in the early 1900's.  Wanted to look for some information on him there.

Here are some pictures:  1- On the way to Gunnison.  2- Vietnam memorial on a mountain top above Gunnison. 3- Monarch Pass, Continental Divide outside, Gunnison, CO. 4- My sister and I in Silverton, Co in front of Durango & Silverton RR steam engine. 45- My sister and I on Red Mountain Pass between Silverton and Ouray, CO. 6 Mt Rushmore, SD.
