I was speed reading down the thread here and saw a pic  put up right here on this page.  Sorry I didn't post it in the right area I guess.

I was concerned to hear about aluminum Ford crash sites.  That's going to contaminate a lot of potential sites that are the real deal.

I loved visiting Ft. Campbell.  It always made my heart swell with patriotic pride to be around all those warriors.  Of course I might have felt different if it was my duty station!  Go 2/327 Infantry "NO Slack!"
The real deal you say....I agree!  It will crumble like aluminum foil. I am sure its all about gas mileage. Aluminum  will put me out of the "rust" repair business. I am looking forward to seeing them. I need better gas mileage than 9 & 10 mpg pulling the camper.  Pat, don't give up trying to guess what the make and model of the car in the contest is. Anyone one and ever one can guess more than once...

Karl, I did not know that an air base had been at Ft. Campbell, or that the Navy guarded nukes there in the "bird cage!"

If I get back down that way I'll take you up on that cup of coffee!  Thanks!  And...  Thanks for your 30 years of service.  I only did two years. 1 year in Viet Nam with the First Cavalry Division (Airmobile) Oct. 1966 - Oct. 1967.

In the 50's we had Nukes parked all over the place.   If you look into history they say we only had enough material to build a hundred.  LOL   Thanks to Rock Ridge  they was pumping out the Plutonium .

Our oldest grandkids are just a couple hours away (except for the one in collage even further) but they have a life of there own being teenagers there never available to visit. School, Sports & GIRLFREINDS keep them busy. 5 of our grandkids live a couple hours away  and 3  of them live  7 miles away.  We can't  seem to get um all here all at once like for Thanksgiving so, we have a couple of dinners here and the same for x-mas. Works out all right cause if they where all here at the same time with there parents and some friends....There'd be no room for us all....

We only have the one. Don't know if I could handle that many at one time either. Bill
