Hey, Karl, I'm here now!

I've never really played with the treasure hunting magnets, so I don't really know that much about them.  It is my understanding that when they say a magnet is a 50 lb., 75 lb., or 95 lb. that is the weight they are supposed to lift.  (Many, many, many years ago I did play with magnets in high school physics class.)   Wise

I had an older Bassett Hound (11 or 12) sleeping in front of the fire.  She ripped off such a loud fart in her sleep that she scared the hell out of herself!  She was 3/4 the way across the room before she realized she had done it!  Then she got a real sheepish look on her face!  I laugh even as I type!  It was funny.

I agree  they truly are.

I have had Bassett Hounds since 1990.  Wife and I used to breed them, for about 4 years.  I had to quit because after I retired I was getting so attached to the puppies it was almost painful to let them go to new families.  I couldn't handle it.  Bassetts have been a real pleasure and amusement in my life!  Love their antics and playfulness!  I had a large tri-color mail at 94 pounds who one day decided he was my lap dog.  I was sitting my chair reading the newspaper when all of a sudden the paper smashed into my face and 94 pounds of Basset Hound landed in my lap at the same time!  He did that until he got to worn out.  He died when he was 11 1/2.

Animals are a real joy in life!
