They both  have  advantages  and  disadvantages
it's  really  up to you  to  figure what  your  needs are.

we went  with a  motor  home  this  time  just cause it's  easier  for  me  to  setup .
The travel  trailer  was great also  but took longer  for me to  get setup .

Posted on: May 05, 2015, 09:55:51 pm
And the MH  is 33 feet long and I can  pull  the  pontoon  boat with it and launch.and retrieve  with  it.

Posted on: May 05, 2015, 09:58:05 pm
And with the  MH   we have  pass-through  storage that we didn't  have  in the  travel  trailer .

Well you have just answered my question for me,,, It would make more sense for me to buy that RV/Camper because I can't park a Trailer anywhere and Like you I am not to well so I guess that's the one for me??

Thanks Mate

Heres my two cents on the matter....Motor homes, very nice that one can travel while fixing dinner and potty-ing. Never have to set up (hardly anything) just park. I prefer the trailer because when I get to my destination I still have my truck to go places. (like haul Karl around, lol) Yes I could pull a little suv with the motor home but than you can't pull your boat? Best option for me here is 5th wheel and boat behind it. Not what I have today but if I ever make a change??? Yes many states question it but its all about length...

Is that your Rig Bill??

Yeah I like the Idea of having the truck/SUV there, But Also I am stuck with the simple set up of the RV, I think I am going to buy the Jeep for now and spend the summer thinking about what will suit me best,

Parking the Trailer/Camper is the problem where as an RV would make life easier,

Nope not my rig. Maybe some day? Its legal to pull a boat behind a 5th wheel, behind your truck but its not legal to pull anything behind a bumper pull trailer. Again, its all about length.  I really like the motor home idea of driving while the  Kiss can cook, or whatever she wants. Its also legal to ride in the (bumper pull) trailer while traveling but only in some states. Dangerous yes, but your wife would always behind you no matter what, lol.

Yes John 2 slides a big one for the  dining  room  etc and one for the queen  bed.
and yes we pull a boat and can launch and retrieve  with the camper it makes us 63 feet in total  length
and if we go.somewhere where we have  to  have  a  car then I call and get a rental  car .  No big deal .

Or if Bill  is there . Then I'll  just bum a ride from  him. LOL

Moust Of The  Time I Treat It Like A Really  Big Car AND just. Drive  it wherever  a car goes.

John I've owned  everything  from tents to pop up tent trailers to travel  trailer  to motor home.

they all have  a  place and all fill a need.

It's  just up to you to decide  what  that need is to determine  what is right for you .

Did you see the  wrinkles  in the outside  walls ?
It's caused by the walls delaminating.
That's serious money to repair .
DO NOT PURCHASE !
