GD, I'm glad you got a laugh. Mark Twain wrote a story about a buffalo that climbed a tree after a man. I posted that some time ago when the conversation turned to bulls. Since then I have been looking very carefully at every critter wild and tame. Then the goats came on the scene and I knew I had to tell about it.

Is the forum under attack by goats?

We need some Prospectors Who Stare at Goats and we need them now.

Didn't you pay attention? Goats will "byte" anything. No bits are safe.

Go Up Go Down

I have seen a few people smashed up pretty bad by goats, feral goats, just like any horned wild animal, need to be treated with either, respect, caution, or a high powered weapon. even without horns a good sized goat can rear up on it's hind legs and give you a good hiding, with it's hoofs. They can use their heads as battering rams ( thus the name  "battering ram" ) and bust ribs, puncturing lungs etc. break your skull all sorts of nasty injuries. So yea without a doubt, goats can be very lethal.
