Not sure what the surgery was but take it slow man. Big mistake people make is 'testing' out
how good they are feeling and how far they can push towards normal activity, then, bam! reinjured.

Still, good news to be cleared. Hope you stay cleared. Smiley

Congratulations on being cleared to drive and resume a normal life Johnnn!  Just be sure to heed DD's warning.  Don't want to blow one of them out before it's ready.  Probably ought to listen to your wife for a while.    Great   Good luck!

Congratulations, Johnnn.

For the sake of harmony, you may want to concede to the wife for one week (either that or agree to searching a flat area without a lot of obstructions).    On a positive note, I was out hunting with an 85 year old this past weekend who had recently had one of his knees replaced (again)  He managed to handle the searching fine with the aid of a lightweight cane.   After a few hours of hunting, I did offer him some assistance crossing a rocky berm so he could get back to the trucks before a storm hit, but that was the only problem I know of.

Thanks for all the good advice,I did not get out as planned "just a funny felling it was too soon" my detecting buddy 76 years young "with his original knees" is of the mind set as some of you are that a nice flat surface would be a starting point.   Now if only it would stop raining!!!........HH............Johnnn
