Well I am unable to detect for now, got a call to see my doctor I hope he is not giving me any bad news, I can not move around at the moment over the last week both knees have gotten worse, I haven't told him how I did this injury as I don't want to be told that my detecting days are over.
Funny how you think about such things.
Anyway 10.45 AM tomorrow I find out how things are...........HH.....Johnnn

I wish you Luck, and I will watch your progress with great interest.
My right knee is playing up, making difficult to walk impossible to bend down.

Hi Johnnn and Nickel_n. May your knee problems be overcome soon with minimal discomfort.

My mother had her right knee replaced. Healing to the point of total mobility without crutches took about 6 months. Now she is pain-free, able to potter about in the garden (including lots of bending to prune plants etc), chase after her rambunctious grandkids and take daily walks. Her quality of life has increased tremendously. Makes me wish that this kind of medical tech was available to my late grandmother when she was in need. I hope both of you do not require surgery, but if you do, take heart: the benefits of regaining mobility far outweighs the risks and discomfort of a knee replacement.

I know that healthcare in western countries can be a bit pricey. Consider being a medical tourist.

And here's the website of the private hospital my mother was treated in:

On the upper hand!

My dad went in for a Hip Replacement.

They found a Pocket of Fluid and Drained it out.

Never had to have it done.

Verdict is in!
My doctor said one knee has a bone splinter floating around the other has a lot of fluid around the joint, so I have to have an MRI to see how bad it is so now have to wait for an oppointment
for that procedure, my reasoning is, there is a splinter then there's only one way to remove it "under the knife"? he hasn't said that but how else do they remove a bone splinter?
Anyway I got a whole 5 days till Sunday I am determined to finish digging my "tea mug" hoard I'm curious to see what else is there.
Fingers crossed......HH....Johnnn

Very good news indeed, Johnnn!. Maybe all you need is a bit of keyhole surgery to remove the splinter, and to drain the excess fluid. Minimally invasive procedures = faster healing  Smiley

I Have heard about the "key hole" opp about 50-50 on results as far as good or bad I think the MRI will determine which approach they will use.....HH.....Johnnn
