Hey Arfie.Glad to hear from you and glad you are ok. Fortunately I live in middle Arizona so weather is like Northern Florida but drier. Just had some snow storms in the mountains so the creeks will be running soon. Need to go prospecting for that shiny stuff. I hob nob with Karl on FB quite often , but haven't heard much from Jim since last summer. Hope he is ok.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Carl,   good luck with finding some of that shiny, yellow stuff in the streams around you.  I live on the edge of Oregon's largest gold field in the N.E. corner of the state and used to do a little gold panning.  I never really found any flakes or anything, except a bunch of tiny garnets - not even industrial grade!  Hope you find the big stuff!

. Prospector Jess is a real nice guy, and he gives a podcast every Thursday and Sunday at 6:00 pm PST. Another source is Jeff Williams on YouTube. A real wild and crazy guy, but what he tells you, if you listen and block out the wildness is the geology and whstypes of rocks to look for to find gold.

Hi, Carl!  We (family) had a good Thanksgiving at my daughter's house about 17 miles from where we live.  Our Granddaughter from Georgia was here with her two babies, 2-year-old girl and 7-week-old son.  Hard to believe we are Great-grand-parents, but we are 75 (me) and 69 (wife), so I guess we are old enough!  No snow here yet but we have been having cold and rainy weather.  Too cold for my old bones anymore.

I haven't heard or seen anything from Homie posted here for months.  I have no idea what is going on with him or his family.

Great to hear from you Carl.  Take care, be safe and keep in touch!
