  Before I started using AVG I got hit is a Virus about twice a Year.    With them Even the Free Version I've not had a problem in 12 years.

Can't even trust the computer manufacturers. Instead of them being so conniving, they should be required by law to put up a list of options that you could install if you really wanted them, or opt out when you first turn the computer on. If any are installed without your approval they should be fined and the money should goto the computer owner.

I understand where the frustration comes from, but do you really want more government?  Does everything have to be made a federal case?  If we had a true free-enterprise system as opposed to the quasi-capitalistic-psuedo-fascistic socialism which currently have and which tries very hard to pass itself off as "capitalism" you'd probably find a lot less need for the government to step and solve your problems for you.   Off my soap box right not and I hope I haven't got anyone else started, because I really don't think we should let this degenerate into a political debate.  (although at least it is on an appropriate board even if the topic is not)
