I drive past these  flat white things are on the traffic lights and have always wondered what they are?

Anyone?

No, they don't look like cameras to me, but they almost look like some sort of microwave device?? Hmmm

Looks like Homefire said. Sensors for the "smart" traffic light. You can see a sensor on the top of the pole that has the street light on it. Supposed to manage the  traffic flow.

    Some city traffic lights are equipped with Transponder Receivers activated by Law Enforcement or Medical Services.  Those look like Camera's to me.
