Might take a month to make a hard copy. A good book, though. Covers all you want to know.

I have wanted to go back to Linux for years but I have too many programs that wont run on it and I don't want to dual log so I suffer with windoze.

Linux is a very powerful OS. All of the configuration things windows hides from you Linux allows you to manipulate and customize. That is a bonus and a danger. Make sure you make backup copies of any of your dot files that configure the various things before editing them. All it takes is one typo to cause a big headache.

I am sure so many years later now its a lot more gui based than when I was working with it.
