Was wondering if there is a way to ignore boards. Not that I don't mind reading all the exciting rock finds that look like turtles in 6 meters of dirt pointing towards the ocean that was at high tide, but those topics don't interest me.

I saw a "Notify" option on the board that will notify me of all new topics, but nothing to "Un-Notify" me of all new topics. I know I can just mark them as read when they cpme into my feed, but was hopibg to prevent them from getting.

Even as Mod I do that on some Boards.

I leave them and then periodically mark them as "mark all as read" (especially the tech boards since they are usually way over my head) just because every once in a while one of them comes up with a really interesting subject OR there is a post by a member I really respect.

Try just ignoring users. Click on the user name, go to their information page. Then look at the options on the left column and select Ignore Options. Add them to your ignore list and you won't see the same person pretending that those symbols mean something.

Thanks Poptop, I was hoping to ignore some boards that I didn't want to follow and hadn't made a comment on. I guess i'll pull my big boy pants and just ignore them
