A squirt gun full of cayenne pepper mixed with lemon juice from any spice shop works as well. Dump the plastic toy in any garbage receptacle after you use it. Then walk your dog home.
Easy. Oh, make sure to shake the gun before you squirt. Anyone sees you? You just squirted some water.
