You'll need a trailer for the detectors and finds, muddy boots and diggin tools behind that, mine will all go in the sidecar.....

Small 4ftX4ft deck with sides about 16 inch high and a lid possibly from harbour freight or similar should work fine, hitch from HD or trike maker check DMC washington state they make some mean tough stuff.

Well it seems Harley is at a loss too. They put new bulbs in and said it was fine....then the bulbs blew out again. Then my voltage meter sprang up to over 20 (pegged to the right) but they say there is nothing wrong with it. Read them the riot act yesterday. they've had it for a week now!!!!

20 volts is not normal in any vehical's 12 volt system normal charge rate at best should be between 13.8V and 14.5V volt no higher, any thing else is bad for bulbs, computers, batteries and everything else you rely on to make it work.  Something else I've run across is the battery installed backward's front to back and making the seat pan very hot with rider weight on the seat better than 300 Amp free butt heater, you don't notice the smoke at speed.  Harley guy's didn't find anything wrong there either battery kept going dead while driving down the road with no weight on the seat everything was normal.  Back to your detector problem's I don't think a handlebar gun rack would work just to REDNECK. A trailer should be fairly light, a minivan rooftop cargo pod would work good and be fairley light, mounted on a small light weight trailer from Harbour Freight painted to match of course.
