Wasn't to sure where to post this. It may fit in treasure hunting but since it is has a two "quest's " a tv show, and will probably continue at a couple each show figured the topic might go all over the place.  Anybody else watch the new show Legend Quest? To me it seems like a televised version of the Yamashita's Buried Treasure thread.

it'll be on the same lines as Destination Truth on the Sci-Fi channel i think....giving all the info about a certain subject like the Ark or the Grail,following a trail and nothing ever comes of it........and i'll  watch every one hoping for something new,which there will never be.the wife always laughs at me when i watch shows like this and says the same thing.....don't you think if they found something,woudn't it be all over the news?  Tongue

Some of the stuff "following leads" really gets me. Like last nights. Well the wish granting rock from the sky isn't here but we heard about a lucky cave so that's were it has to be. Trying to find the rock from the sky in the cave, at least if you really think its there, bring along a metal detector. Side note going in to the cave and pawing all the live formations. Come on now.  Or the "sword" in the painting of the Madonna and Child at the church. Don't think I've seen a sword with guards not across from each other. And why didn't it have a pommel? And Oh its in the north east corner, that means King Arthur's sword must be in that direction. One thing I've got to admit about the shows. Some really cool places they go.

Homie, This is good enough. Like I said the thread may go all over the place. Since the show does.

They haven't yet but probably. The next one is the Holy Lance and Incan Golden Sun Disc.

Okay, the Holy Lance is in Area 51 and since we can't get in we can't show you.
The Incan Golden Sun Disc is on top of a mountain in a ruin. But we can't show you since we can't dig and we still have no equipment, even metal detectors.
Seems to be a common thread here. Wild assumptions and can't find ....

I Just wish they would do their home work before they give you something and then take it back,
you get the build up and then nothing, it's a bit like the lottery you buy a ticket hoping to win,
and with this you watch it hoping to see it,
