my last post in today's finds was a Little short on info and showed what i found. I was just curios as to what the lock symbol meant and I hope the post was okay.
 not to good on long subject descriptions ,will try to do better on my posts.

The lock symbol "locks" the topic so that no one but the original poster or a moderator can post to it......not something you generally want to use.
