Don't you ever go back and reread old posts? I do and I for one, thoIO never had the pleasure, will miss him very much.

I re-read old posts frequently, especially when I am researching something or trying to point a new member in the right direction.  However, given the number of dead posts I see that are reopened by people who don't bother to check the original post date and/or don't read the whole thread, I don't comment on them unless I have something that is going to have significant meaning to the current readers.

In this case, I made an exception since GoldDigger1950 hasn't been on the boards for a while and I don't want any of our current members thinking the old man has kicked the bucket.

Very sad news. Cry I have enjoyed reading GD's posts. If he has indeed passed over the veil, may he be eternally happy. If only very ill, may he recover fully and quickly. Thank you wherever you are. Sad

My thanks to BA for reminding everyone I am not dead yet. Still need my liver (pardon me, Monty Python). Just back from a stay in Italy.

See how dedicated I am? Not even unpacked yet and here I am.

Feeling old, too. Bellagio is built in a hillside and my name is now on every stair. What was I thinking?

When people sign up and join the forum , I guess there should be an automatic search to see if a user name has been taken or is being used already . It can certainly cause confusion , GoldDigger 1950 is alive and well but the other Goldigger has passed away , so we were told .

Thousands of members and hopefully everyone else has a unique user name so far . So if there is any type of bad news we know exactly who it is next time . Just a thought .

Sorry again for the other "GoldDiggers" passing .

Regards................Eugene

Not dead yet, mate. But why is that anything to do with YOUR luck? Seems more to do with mine.
