Hi,
Having already searched , and to no joy cannot find what i am after , hence am here asking;

A book was reccommended about the early French settlers in America , but cannot find it to get the full details. I think it may have been one of the moderators, talking about Le Salle.

Any info of were to look on the site would be appreciated.

wuzneme

See if these ring any bells. The prices go down as you go through the list. If you just want knowledge, go to the cheaper books. If you want serious information with actual citations from La Salle (NOT Le Salle), consider the more expensive books which were published closer to his death in 1687.

Thank you Sir, muchly appreciated.

What i was trying to find on this site was a book that was recommended on here , about La Salle. I had tried recommended reads section but no joy. From memory i think it was either BitburgAggie-7377 or yourself.

In truth i think i am looking for a general knowledge for now , til i can concentrate it down to the main ones which i am after.

Even still, thank you for the link. I have also attached 2 links , one for his last voyage , theother is another informative site for sources.

Uh, oh. It's one of my uploads! How silly of me to forget.

Forget what? Who knows, I can't remember.
