Go Up Go Down

Hi Mudflap

We went to a village for some tractor parts, on the way back I got a hunger call from down under so got onto the GPS to find a place to get a bite. We landed up in a very nice, well priced restaurant where I had the best burger ever (Real beef) then we saw that they had home made cheese cake, it turned out to be one of the best that I've ever had. Now all I need to do is find more faults with the tractor  Grin

Amazing how many people still use the .303 for hunting. Thanks for the link we have them here too, could make a nice BBQ with one of them  Smiley

Never liked the .303 not that there was anything wrong with it.

Here the Big one was .308 or 30-06.

Just what you Grew Up with I think.

Yep!     I've seen some Surpluse Rifles that could shoot 1" Groups at 100 yards NO PROBLEMS.

My brother in law goes hunting with one, one day when he got to the game farm there was a guy with a brand new rifle worth a fortune, he asked my brother in law what did he use to hunt with LOL he puled out the old .303 and felt a bit stupid showing it, to cut a long story short the guy with this hi tech rifle wounded the animal and they all landed up having to look for it.

The Rifle is just part of the Game.   The Shooter is the one that is in control.

That is true, you can have the best fishing equipment but if you don't know how to fish you'll never catch one.

I noticed a nice tractor there with that expensive green and yellow paint..  I grew up very near Waterloo Iowa where many of those are made.  We also had John Deere tractors on our farm.  ours were 2 cylinder 'johnny poppers' though..
