I saw today on TV an episode of the BBC series,
Toughest place to be a miner.Looking for Gold in Mongolia

It’s worth watching it if you can find it.
Incredible resemblance of the way they dig mine shafts and the risks they are taking with the way that the old timers worked the Victorian gold fields!

Yeah they do it the Hard way that's for sure, we have had a few of them coming here asking about Gold Detectors (No Such Thing) and then there is the weather there from the +40s down to the -50s, Great if your a Yeti or a Yak,  worse if your a Carton of Stubbie's   Cry Cry

They have to dig 5 meter to find the wash.
They couldn’t dig more than 3 meters because the ground was frozen.
So the had to de-frost the ground by burning yuck dung the only thing they had.
It’s really worth watching.
