We us to cheat on fuel by adding the OLD type Moth balls.  One hand full per gal was the mix. Shaken not Stird.  LOL  Later we used Model Air Plane fuel.  Nitro Methane , Methyl Alcohol and caster oil.  That stuff would pop pistons if you ran it to hot.

I've heard of that using moth balls many years ago. Never tryed it. Homie, I can't find that pic of me and my dad on our bikes but I will and post it when I find it. Ridge... Here's a pic of some flames I painted back in 1980 on my 78 Toyota Celica, Blue with pearl gold. Showed this car in KC at the Darrel Starbird show around 1982? Standing next to it is my son. He's 37 now I think?? I also injoy body work & painting. I learned by watching the body men repair cars in the body shop when I worked for car dealers as a service writer. No computers back than. Also my Bradley GT. Built on a VW. I decided to take the top off and do a little customizing to it.  Also a picture of what they (the Bradley GT)  did look like when available new as a kit car. They had gullwing doors.

Other hobbies or passions, besides metal detecting ??  1970 Dodge Challenger (the car I would love to buy).  My other interests are working on Chevy's and enjoy Science Fiction movies.

That Bradley GT is not that different to the Vette you just bought from the side, Nice car heavens knows how it would go with one of the bigger Porsche engines in it, I bet it would fly being made of fibreglass. Cool car,

I would love a 55/56/57 Chevy, my dad had a beautiful 56 4 door when I was about 3 or 4so it would of only been 6 or 7 years old but it was like new, I love that car.

I don't mind those new Challenger,

You love working on Chevys?                     Than come and help me finish this 53 Chevy. My dad bought it new. I still have it. Can't bring myself to finish it but one day I will. I painted it for him (my dad) once back in the late 70's. Been in my shop for over 20 years. Still runs. I drive it a few miles ever summer. I started on it last winter.Decided I was NOT taking the dents out of the top sence I PUT THEM THERE WHEN I WAS A TADPOLE. My dad should of never sat me on that car as I remember crawling all over it as a kid. I put those dents in there and there they'll stay. The bumpers and grill have been rechromed and ready. Has new interior and dad rebuilt the motor before he passed. 6 cyl. 3 on the tree. First car I ever drove. This what dad taught us to drive in. One X-mas I toke the pic he had and had it enlarged and made him a clock out of it.... I'm NOT that fat anymore, lol
