Just out of a matter of interest what is the most Coins that you have found in A Day,

My highest is 167 at one hot spot and the next day I found 157 and after I found 27 in one hole, So what is your record,

Back then the only reason I counted them was because I was finding up to 5 in a hole and they where coming thick and fast,

Here's the strange part, they were all pre 1970/71 and went back as far back as 1870s and I found old badges etc,

It was just A Grassed area between two wooded areas, The spot in question was on a hill and facing the sun which  means people would have had picnic's there while their kids play and run up and down the hill, near by there is a Golf course that goes back to the late 1800s, but I remember as A kid in the early 60s we all use to go there, its not really A Park although the kids have always a park,
