Hello Everyone .

If you live on the East Coast [path of the storm] by the Beach , get your Metal detector out .  You may have the best finds of a LIFETIME !!
Any Beaches or Lakes that are changed by the storm "whats left of them anyway" will be a fantastic place to treasure hunt .

Eugene

Eugene, it's been a fizzle so far. The south facing beaches had sand shift from the shore to the inland areas depositing up to 8 feet in places. That makes it impossible to get to the shore in many places. The east facing beaches had very little erosion or displacement. By the time it's safe to go to the shoreline again, the bulldozers will have moved much of the sand and debris back to the shore. Reports from friends who have mde the trip are that it is quite disappointing and not worth the effort.

I feel lucky that we got only 6" and no rain at all. Looking forward to a warmer weekend.
