Why did you pick the username you picked? Thats the question I'll go first ! Kinda funny because I spelled it wrong I meant to spell it Spaniard ooops Im Spainard now and im gonna roll with it now because but it reminds me im human! I need to humble myself sometimes especially since I tend to get a little to high on my horse from time to time! Anyone else BA and Seldom?

Known by two names and two different mythological tales. Casca or Cartiphile(no puns here ok) was the roman legionnaire who while impaling Christ on the cross, tasted the holy blood. This soldier was cursed to roam the earth as he was, a soldier , till the second coming. Imagine if you will, living through the ages, to be in battle after battle, to be burned, drowned, every kind of death, to never die. Or chained to the bottom of the ocean........Its also a series by the Late Barry Sadler called, Casca, the Eternal Mercenary.

mine's simple enough...based on a couple of places I went to school and which are very important to me  (and bitburg is the first place I ever had an opportunity to swing a metal detector...although I had been reading lost treasure magazines and books about famous archeologists for years )

Hello Spainard

Mine is symbolic of the type of life I have had. I have made fortunes and lost fortunes more times I care to admit. Luck is some thing we all need but some times the price is too high.

GoldDigger1950 just suits me. The year I was born combined with what I love doing. Makes sense.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
