My user name was bestowed upon me by my soldiers.  We where in the Persian Gulf and reading material, among other things, was sparse.  So, books got passed around.  One was tittled "Buckskin".  A more adult version of Longarm if you all read any Westerns.  Anyway, after it had passed through most of the platoon one of the soldiers cam up to me and said, "Sarge, the main character in this book is you."  Off duty everyone started calling me that when we got home and it stuck.

Shootin4Coal
This name comes from my Appalachian roots.Out of north eastern W.Va comes a lot of mining history. Also Back in the hills as MDing I use to run into deposits of coal as digging for a target.
Back there coal and slate was EVERYWHERE,a dig of a inch or two and you'll for sure hit that black rock...
When I was a kid out doing some detecting people would ask "What are you looking for?" I would say I'm looking for coal.   Grin  Idiot

After my dog (look at my picture).  His name is Arthur.  My granddaughter said to him, "you look more like an Arfer."  So that is what I call him and it got shortened to "Arfie!"

Hi Spainard

Riley is just the cat. He and Old Tom (the other cat) rule my life. He looks just like NY Shooter

Riley (aka Lexie)

I picked this name because I worked underground at Climax Moledium mine in Colorado in my 20's.

Go Up Go Down

Mine is a nickname that I have had for as long as I can remember. My older brother started calling me it when we played hide and seek with the neighborhood kids and nobody could ever find me, my bro said that I was camouflaged and it just stuck. I have friends that don't even know my real name.  Shocked
