Go Up Go Down

My family watched an episode of National Geographic that took place in Australia about the Worlds 12 most deadliest animals. There's really a LOT of critters over there in Aussie land!
 Shocked
I can't remember them all, tiger snake, brown snake, something like a rock fish, jelly fish, some sort of muscle in a shell, great white shark, crocks, funnel web spider, red backed spider. That's all I remember... I think the most occurrances of interactions with man is the brown snake from what they said. I think that there's also some sort of eastern <something> snake too that's another killer!

It was a very interesting episode! I was truely impressed with how close the film footage was with some of these critters too!

I bet you they never said anything about the two legged creatures. The most dangerous of them ALL
They can surface anywhere and they are totally unpredictable.

And I bet you aren't referring to Kangaroos, Wallabies, or Emus and Cassowaries.

I had a close encounter a couple of weeks back. I was about 3 - 4 ft away from stepping on a brown snake  Shocked  If I didn't stop walking it would have been a very close encounter!!

I agree about the two legged species being most dangerous and Im not talking about the Cassowaries. A few of others to add to the list, Blue ringed octopus, Bull & Tiger Sharks, Red Belly Black snake & Death Adder
There are tales of a Black Panther's that roam the out back areas of Queensland. As well as other unknown animals Huh?

GoldnBoy, the Red Belly Blacks are from Eumundi on the SunShine Coast and further up, The TaiPan is getting wide spread

I've had some very close shaves with most of the snakes,

I saved a mate once from a massive Brown one day and ( GUESS WHAT ) they grow alot bigger than they say they do

Same tale in Avoca here in Victoria. i often go prospecting there and camp at Old number two area.
The locals keep repeating the story of the many sightings of the big black cats.

I wonder if there are any Aboriginal story's of these big black cats.
Also I was thinking they could be black panther's that were let loose or escaped from a private zoo, but for reports to be in Queensland and Victoria it seems to be a very wide range.

The story is that American soldiers let them loose when they went back home just after the war.
