Here are the results of my electrolisis cleaning experiment. After 4 days in the bath the quarter was as clean as it was going to get and started turning black. I lightly mechanically polished it after the electrolisis. The lighting on the "before Photo" gives it a red cast but it was actually dark brown comming out of the ground.

Try putting it in Apple Cider Vinegar, Let it soak for 12-24 hrs and then clean by lately taping with A HAMMER AND BRUSHING WITH A wIRE BRUSH, tHEN RINSE IN PLAIN WATER WITH A SPOONFULL OF bAKING SODA.......dry and seal if you want.....................HH
