hi!

just wanted to share home-made jobby for cleaning & buffing those keepers!

purchased an old sewing machine at flea mart for 5$

took the motor & foot pedal, attached whatever i'll need to clean[pic shows stiff buffing wheel]i.e. brass wheel-stainless wheel -soft buffing wheel-grinding wheel...ect

works very well

pic not so good,sorry

I use a Fordom Flexible Shaft Machine. It has a foot pedal and I have collets from 1/16" to 1/4" with a multitude of cool little brushes.

I use a flexible shaft extension on a RTX rotary tool with many different brushes and other accessories. Not real often though, I don't want to risk scratching an item up. It all depends on what I'm cleaning or or what I'm planning on doing with the item.

i find that holding the subject matter as opposed to holding the tool is alot more comfortable and easier method of cleaning.my dremmel is a good tool for bigger stationary objects,with 50some attachments,it can't be beat!
