hi!
for cleaning anything with conductive properties, this method is great!

you can do whatever blows up your skirt, but i recommend using at least 18 volts.

cut the wire on an 18-24 volt transformer from a old cordless drill or ect..
attach stainless gator clips to both ends.
fill a glass 3/4 10-14oz.any water
stir in 1-2teaspoons any salt.1-2oz.lemon juice
connect pos. to stainless spoon,fork,ect..
conn neg. to coin or ect..
drape them in water,submerging subject
plug in trans.& watch it go like an alkeseltzer
18-24 volts will not hurt you unless you eat the transformer!
3-5 minutes will do the job completely
trans heats fast, keep an eye on it

this is no miracle device, but a very nice method indeed

after cooking subject,i also recommend haggerty's silversmith's polish.
i use it on copper,nickel,whatever

happy dirtfishing!

Great information for the uninitiated. I used the same process to grow silver crystals years ago. Same principle- different chemicals.

Be very careful when putting electrodes into your container, that they DO NOT touch each other.  It can be an explosive experience. Cry  Also watch your item very carefully, I experienced an Indian Nickel almost totally disappearing. Shocked.  I use an Automotive dual voltage Battery charger with a max. amperage of 10 amps/12 volt or 6 amps./6 volt.  Thanks for reading.  And Have a very Blessed and Merry CHRISTmas.  Happy Holidays to the rest.    Larry
