I've found that the easiest way to clean clads is in a vending machine.  If you put a few dirty clads in a vending machine then hit the "coin return" button, the coins will come back out nice and clean.  But don't do this with key-date coins.  Sometimes the vending machine will somehow change the date on the coin.

You may want to be somewhat selective about where you do this at though.  For example it may not be a good idea to do this at your place of work.

Amazing how the machine changes those dates. And we said machines can't think for themselves.
