How to really get those clad coins clean fast

Guys, here is a link to a site that shows how to clean clad coins (you know the ones, dimes, quarters, pennies that are covered in tons of crud, that doesn't come off even when you wash them with soap and water, or those reddish brown pennies). I tried it and it works great and it is fast. In 6 minutes you can clean a whole batch of coins, and it is enviromentally safe. Be sure to follow the instructions because if you go about it haphazardly you could mess it up. It is only for clad coins. Do not mix nickel plated coins with any copper coins.  I did over 100 coins in less than an hour. Here is the link.

Ok, here's the photos of the test results on 9 nickels, 10 dimes, and 4 quarters.  I tried to pick some rough looking ones to see how well the process really works. Picture 1 is before any processing.  Pitcure 2 is after 2 minutes of shaking in clean water. Picture 3 is after 2 minutes of shaking in the vinegar / salt solution. Picture 4 is the final results. What the pictures don't show is that about 50% needed much more cleaning. Also I hand buffed all coins with Brasso afterwards. I think my results were skewed by adding the nickels to the batch, as they are not clad. Also not sure if I got the mixture close enough. Some of the coins had a greyish oxidized look afterword and required a vigorous buffing. On the other hand the following batch of pennies that were in just as bad of shape produced a much higher yield. 20 of 28 and came clean on the first try with just a little buffing.
