Making a electric cleaning machine??

(1/1)

Lee redpath:
Hi people i have been reading online about making a home made cleaning machine using a 12v psu crocodile clip alloy bar icecream tub and salt water. Has anyone else read or heard of such a idea and is it any good?? is it safe and is there any type of metals/finds i shouldnt clean in this way? I am not going to make this device type thing untill i have had some comments from you guys to see what other people think. And to see if anyone has done this in the past. Thanks and happy hunting  [great]   [detecting]  Lee.

Spooky:
I have made a similar unit using a 6.5 Volt DC charger
it works on coin sized objects.

Electrolysis is a touchy subject, and you can do more harm than good if you don't pay attention.

(I used a penny for demonstration purposes)

For "Iron" objects, Farm implements Ax's etc. Try using Apple Cider Vinegar, Just put your piece in a Plastic or Tupperware Container,Cover with ACV to just cover and let soak for 12-24 hrs and then Clean by taping with a Hammer very lightly, And then brushing with a wire brush. After this rinse with plain Water
And a little Baking soda. Dry and seal if you like........................HH
