I did a box of half dollars ($500).  I found 3 40% silver.  The bank was pretty good about ordering them for me, it took about a week to get them. I don't think it is going to be worth the hassle of getting rid of these, I think I just need to swing the detector more.

Yeah, that's cool. I did about $300 worth and got nothing. I felt bad, so I slowly spent them at fast food places. But, should have just rerolled them.

I picked up 8 40%ers at a yard sale a couple weeks ago for $15, it was a lot easier than searching and re-rolling all those halves.

I save coinflation silver values website on my phone so I don't to remember spot values.  It works pretty good on my phone even though it is not a "smart" phone.

CRH can get you down from time to time.  10, 20, or 30 boxes of skunk in a row will do it.  Especially if you have other facets of your life demanding the time or just run out of cash.  I took off a couple of months when that happened to me.  I'm back at it again and feel more excited about it.

Well, tried it again with 2 boxes of halves, that's 2000 half dollars to look through. Zilch, nada, nothing, lol. Think I will try the garage sale thing. Oh, and can hardly wait for my hamburgers hehe.

Couple different things you can try depending on where you are at.  Pull from other banks.  Especially ones that have different coin services.  Coin service is key sometimes.  Where I am at Brinks (square boxes) is no good.  Other people love 'em.  I prefer the flat boxes.  Last weekend I did some dimes.  Purchased 4 boxes an another $400 in hand-rolled.  Found twelve keepers.  Beauty part of it is tellers don't give you the hairy eyeball when you dump them as they do halves.  Also there are a wider variety of coin machines in banks that service dimes compared to halves which is what I do with the remains of the boxes.

Halves generally are the best way to go though with dimes next.  Everyone says quarters are a waste and I would have to agree.  Better to separate pennies at that point.

I have to use a magnifying glass for dimes, anymore, haha. But, I try dimes and quarters every now and then. The luckiest I got, was, someone must have robbed their parents' old coin set, and brought in two rolls of steel pennies from the fortys to buy stuff from a convenience store. My fiance works there and snatched them right up. She usually brings me a silver coin or a wheat penny a week, maybe.
