i have done this for about 5 years since the banks are small in our area you will end up going threw alot of rolls again so i started marking mine discreetly just take a marker of any color and draw a line on the paper also i pick the two shiniest pennies out of the roll and put them at each end with both fronts showing or backs this way when i would ask for circulated rolls i would get different ones everytime i hope this helps some of you outhere if it helps one person i'll be happy thanks Smiley

I don't think there is too much of that here, I have gotten numerous rolls and boxes....never a service fee or charge. I always take the rolls back to a different bank though...going to mark the next batch just for fun. Be interesting to see the rolls again!

i allways checked pennys and nickels they where the best bet for finding old ones since everyone i see online are big game hunters as i call them the little change isn't checked as much also searching bigger rolls can get exspensive i usaully didn't check anything over nickels because i never found anything in the rolls any bigger.

Dave,
I have found a couple Halfs and dollars (probably got spent in one of the local casinos)....not so many quarters, but a plethora of dimes, nickels, and pennies.
