from 1 teller who had only $40.00 and the vault teller who said a man deposited $120.00 in half dollars and she looked thru them and puller all the silver and rerolled them....i picked up $90.00 from her and when i opened them i only found 90 coins all but 1 was 40%....

Daniel, do you realize that the only silver Kennedy half dollar that was silver was the 1964? All the rest are clad. He has no silver there at all.

The Kennedy half dollar was struck in 90% silver in 1964. The following year, this was changed to silver-clad, with the silver content lowered to 40%.


$2.5325183285 is the total melt value for the 1965-1970 silver Kennedy half dollar on December 31, 2009.

Looks like he did good to me
