[hello]friends! I present to you a few coins that I've found
. All these coins belong to the period of Turkish in the Crimea.
In the middle of the XV century, the Byzantine Empire, was at that time the most powerful state near the Crimea, but it collapsed under the blows of the Turkish troops. Constantinople
in 1453, was captured and renamed Istanbul and became the capital of the Ottoman Empire.
In 1475, the Turkish fleet moved his troops in the Crimea. Thus Crimea became part of the Ottoman state. In my city, built a new fort. Ottoman rule ended in Crimea after the Russian-Turkish War of 1768-1774
, when, after the signing of the Treaty of Kuchuk-Kainarji peace treaty the Ottomans were forced to abandon the Crimean territory.
In memory of these events, I got a few coins
!
Thank you for coming to my topic! Regards, Anton!
