Hi Friends, Finally got back out detecting yesterday. hidden among the WWII debris was this lil gem. Shes a Japanese 1 SEN. Face value was about 0.01 yen. They were minted from 1873 to 1888 in this version, making this my oldest coin to date Cool. Just thought id share it with all of you. Keep Swinging, Happy Hunting!

No this coin was not dated. The trend seems to be that the Japanese don't nor have they ever dated their coins. This coin is from the first minting run from 1873-1888. The second run went from 1898-1902 and pictured a rising sun on the obverse.
