It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

In North Africa and the Middle East, when I was traveling through there nearly half a century ago, one could purchase small, copper coins that were small enough to just cover the tip of one's pinky. They were collectively known as Widow's Mites, which brought to mind the New Testament parable. Those pictures remind me of the ones I bought all those years ago in Tunisia and Egypt.

Sirmium of Constantius II (351-355). Сongrats! This is a good coin!
On the reverse is written: Happy times are back! A Soldier with a spear pierces the fallen rider.
The obverse features a bust of Constantius in armor and tiara.
