They're modern day Fen Shui coins. Stamped out by the thousands. You sometimes see them all woven together with red ribbon for wall hangings. I use them for scratching lottery tickets. Hey, why not? It might help.

It's all about that magical moment of discovery when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

shoot, i think they make them by the millions or perhaps even the billions....they are....ehhhhhh....ubiquitous, surely.....the russian site though is quite a treat, and you may be amazed at the rarity of some of  the coins which sometimes appear common place, because of where they just sort of show up...thanks for writing, good luck on the lottery....b

Then why did you ask about them as if you didn't know? Pretending to be ignorant and then becoming precious about them is a bit silly.

The coin shop may be wrong. They are cast, not struck and the lettering is all about Feng Shui. They are made by the millions to sell in modern day Chinese shops. If your coin dealer is offering you more than a dollar each, think about taking it.

Here are two I just happen to have setting on my desk here. Pardon the fuzzy image. I'm just getting ready to leave for an appointment and I don't have time to retake them now.
