I know you can't do much when the ground is frozen solid, Dan. The other side of the coin is that the temperatures right now are so hot that you dehydrate in an hour and you simply cannot carry enough water with you. We're not even in the desert, just suburbia. It'll cool down in a few days. It always does but right now, there's an oven out there.

Sounds hot GD, when it gets in the 90's+ out here i wade in shorts and sneakers in the fresh water beach areas with the waterproof surfmaster. Its the only way to hunt when its hot....hope you can get out soon.....DW
