Two nice little Silver coins. One form Germany one from the Switzerland (the one with the bear). Both about 200 - 300 years old.

Regards,

Christian

Christian

With your coin finds weather they be ancient or modern would it be best to clean them or leave them in their found condition when offering them for sale ?   and would cleaning them increase or decrease their value ?

Christian
I have found both modern silver and copper coins before ,  The silver coins stand up well as far as corrosion but they might patina a bit but the copper coins in most cases deteriorate quite a fair bit do you find that the same with ancient coins ?
