I guess that would depend on what extent of hassle they would be willing to go through....but then again an influx of melted metal like that and in that amount would raise a lot of curiousity from people that a person wouldn't want asking too many questions.

it would easily be possible to melt into ingots of whatever size you desired

it would easily be possible to sell at any of the tens of thous. of scrap yards in us

in fact~they would love you for it

your 10k$ investment + expenses has now become 23K$

don't know if law has come into effect but for anyone with equipment to handle this profitable job~more power to them Grin

It would also easily raise quite a few questions around my area at least. In theory....a person may be better off if they were going to melt it down to melt it down and cast it into some form of small figures or something like that maybe candle holders or a mixture of small little figures and candle holders. Odds might be better that way to not raise questions "just cleaning out grandmas attic" you could say.
