I thought maybe some kind of proof coin but I took the liberty of examining your photos and by comparison with the real coin, yours has a mottled almost orange peel texture whereas the large cent is crisp and the surface is smooth. If you are still curious, compare the volume this coin displaces vs another cent. I think it has been dipped or tinned then polished and has more volume than the other. Once you have the displacement then, as B.A. suggested, you can calculate the specific gravity and possibly ID the metal.
