When you are out and about prospecting for treasures, how many coins or how much money do you recover in an outing?

I ask this question because I pickup coins whenever I see one, thinking that one one of these days I might have a million pennies, which translate to $10,000 dollars.
Just a curious question because sometimes I think I am the only one with this kind of a fetish. Smiley

I'm not superstitious like my wife is.....If I see it, I'm picking it up and putting it in my pocket.

Hi BitburgAggie_7377

Nice to meet you, Superstitious???

I don't know any superstition on just picking up a coin when you find one.
Can you enlighten me on that one?

Warren

my wife won't pick up pennies unless they are face-up (of course, she has been known to cheat and turn them over with her toe).   Supposedly finding a penny heads up brings good luck.

Well that is interesting!
I think we are all lucky even more so when it might be that the penny is looking for you instead of you looking for the penny.

Fortune smiles upon us!  Kiss

Do you mean "eyeball finds?"

I pick up at LEAST two or three coins every time.
A few times I have made more eyeball finds than actual dug targets.

Not counting just "walking around"... I think we are more tuned into looking at the ground than most.
I have recovered hundreds of dollars in dropped coins and bills, even jewelry.

If you can pick up a penny in two seconds you can pick up $18.00 worth of pennies per hour. Not bad for a second job and no taxes.
