Some day we may figure a way to  ship from the originator?   Not only the Item would be donated but the shipping too or shared with the Buyer?

Complications set in. Huh?

Now there is an idea. The store could be a place to see what members have to sell and the transaction would be between buyer and seller sort of like craig's list which I use all the time. Of course we already have a Board for buying and selling. What would the store bring to that?

On another forum we have a little metal figure of a man we send from place to place and people show him a good time photo's and all.

He's been all over the World.

Well one time he was confiscated by Costumes in the UK.   They called him a Art Figure.    It cost us $100 and some to Bail him out of the Customs lock up.

Customs and Duties can be a Killer.  You Never know what is what until you try to send it.

It is a difficult thing to do, but that is why I said that maybe the shop should not be there until someway of working it is sorted out.... I do not know how Christian has been running the store, if it comes from sponsors or he is paying for it out of his own pocket  Idea But I do say that it is a great idea, as I can now get items that I would not get from my own country.... So I do hope that a way can be sorted out.... In the mean time, I will leave my buckles booked  Great

Two problems I am seeing  No no!

1. The store might as well be taken away as I ordered two buckles which Christian has told me he will send, and still have not been sent.... 2 years now and many requests..... I now have many point which i can buy with, but will not bother if they cannot be used  Cry

2. Just noticed that the "free webpages" for members sites are not working... clicked on two of the sites and they come up with an error.... maybe due to the upgrade and just not sorted yet? not sure...

There's actually one more problem you seem to be forgetting. We don't actually PAY for these items with money. We pay with gold that we earned from making posts.

GD, I have not forgotten that at all, but regardless of weather it is money or gold or anything else, if the shop says that we can buy things with the gold points, then we should be able to.... I am not the one who put the shop on the website...... If we were not supposed to be able to buy stuff with the points, then why put the shop on the site?
All I am saying, is lets get the shop running the way that Christian intended it to be.... if that means that we must pay the postage, then so be it... but lets just put that in the rules of the shop.

I am not fighting, I am just making a suggestion as this is the area of the forum for suggestion, and improvements.... I just think it is a waste of time having the shop if we cannot make use of it....

Of course you're not fighting and neither am I. Christian has already explained that the store is not working and hasn't worked for more than 2 years. He has it on his list of things to fix but it is a low priority. Please understand that he does have other things to do including fighting these attacks we have been experiencing.

It is the first time that I am hearing that Christian has spoken about the shop.... the last I heard about the shop from Christian was when he asked me for my address so that he could send me the stuff.... If Christian cannot / does not have the time to get the shop up and running.... then let us disconnect the shop for the time being so that we do not see it.. He can still allocate points so that when he does get the shop running, we can use them.... I do understand if Christian has a battle with the shop, as it is not easy to run one...

I do also understand that he is under a lot of pressure with the site attacks, and he is doing a great job with the Forum.... I also appreciate what he is doing, and always will  Great
