Hi, I know my registry is full of flaws and needs to be fixed. I've downloaded one software that was recommended by a website, but it didn't do all the cleanup for free, it only fixed six identified issues and wanted me to purchase the package in order to fix all of them.
I'm looking for something pretty easy to use, that's free to use. Any recommendations?
Thanks.

My son is good with computers, he recommended Piriform CCleaner. It's free and very effective, just google it

I use CCleaner and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. Both are good.

CCleander (free version) is terrific but be warned. It is VERY powerful and when you tell it to do something, IT DOES IT. Make a backup of your registry BEFORE you do any changes with CCleaner. That way you can restore things if they go afoul.

I recommend doing the steps they describe on the web page at

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
