	April Garage Sale Contest « on: April 02, 2011, 02:19:30 PM »

Rules

1 Must have been bought at a yard sale, garage sale, thrift stores, secondhand stores swap meets flea markets you get the idea.
2 Must have been bought during month of contest
3 Post pictures a must, price you paid and retail valve if you like.
4 Contest ends at midnight last day of month
5 Judging will be done by the moderators over 3 days
Note: if prize is not claimed in 30 days it will be rewarded to the runner up

1000 gold pieces out of my private cache.

Start posting now for April ends at midnight on the the last day of month.

Oviously, I'm the only one out there hunting, based on the lack of replies, and the fact that I keep finding all the "good stuff", lol.

Today, I found a bag of 85 souveneir spoons for $20. Most are old, and two are sterling, so I'm already in the black. If I get even a buck a piece for the other 83, that'll give me a 400% ROI. I'll take that any day.

Hello - As most of u know we are expecting our first Grandchild so the Wife and I went out sat found a 3 stage crib valued at $1500.00 is what they originally paid ,as the original receipt was still with it, it goes from a crib to a todler bed to a full size bed , we gave $100.00 for it, it's in beautifull shape , The people who had it were some of the newest victims of this recession, will post pics tomorrow.

Hello went out again this morning to find more stuff for the grandbaby and ran across these Cups for $0.25, they are pre wwII and are Japenese tea mugs.
.25 cents a piece according to Kovels.com there worth about $ 10.00 a piece. Not a bad score for the day!!
